Biography

Dr Osama Al-Bermani is a Melbourne-based, Australian-trained consultant urological surgeon accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ). He is an experienced urologist, specialising in a broad range of benign and malignant urological conditions.

Dr Al-Bermani further specialised in upper-tract surgery at the Bristol Urological Institute in the UK, an ERUS-accredited centre of excellence. He then completed an additional fellowship in robotic pelvic uro-oncology at University College Hospital London, recognised among the top urology hospitals globally.

As well as offering specialist expertise in urological cancers and minimally invasive and robotic surgery, Dr Al-Bermani provides a wide variety of urological services. This includes the management of enlarged prostates, kidney stones, and voiding dysfunction. Dr Al-Bermani holds a public appointment at Northern Health and is heavily involved in training medical students, junior doctors and specialist training urologists.
