Biography
Dr Peter Thomson is a Toowoomba-based general surgeon with a strong commitment to rural and regional healthcare, ensuring that location has minimal impact on quality of treatment.
Dr Peter Thomson has a special interest in colorectal surgery and extensive experience with endoscopic procedures.Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 1987, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1998 after completing his advanced training in general surgery.
Having grown up in Toowoomba and with many years’ experience there, Peter has a thorough understanding of the general surgical needs of patients in regional communities, and particularly in the Darling Downs area.
