Biography

Dr Ranjeev Sinniah is a gastroenterologist with a clinical interest in advanced therapeutic endoscopy for hepatobiliary and pancreatic conditions, balloon enteroscopy, and inflammatory bowel disease.

Ranjeev graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the Queen’s University in Belfast in 2005 and went on to complete his physician’s qualifications to be admitted to the Royal College of Physicians in 2010.

After moving to Australia, he concluded his specialist gastroenterology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, before seeking further training in endoscopy. He undertook additional fellowships in interventional endoscopy at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, Gold Coast University Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, gaining expertise in endoscopic retrograde cholangiogram (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and resection of large polyps and mucosal legions.
