Biography
Dr Rebecca Taylor offers patients a comprehensive and compassionate approach to their gynaecological and reproductive care.
Becky went to medical school at the University of Edinburgh, graduating with first class honours as well as obtaining a BMedSci in Reproductive Biology. She was awarded the Buchanan Scholarship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, recognising academic excellence in the field.
She worked as a junior medical officer in Scotland for two years before emigrating to Australia in 2013 to undertake her speciality training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH).
After completing her basic training she developed an interest in fertility and operative gynaecology by undertaking a fellowship at Westmead Fertility Centre followed by a three year fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery at RPAH where she developed a special interest in endometriosis. She is now an Australian Gynaecological and Endoscopy and Surgery (AGES) certified Gynaecologist.
Becky consults out of Genea in the City, where she offers both fertility and general gynaecology appointments. She is also a Gynaecology VMO at RPAH.
