Biography
Dr Robert Gates is a plastic surgeon who specialises in all areas of reconstructive surgery. His special interests include body recontouring post bariatric surgery; skin cancer removal surgery; breast surgery: reduction, reconstruction and augmentation; microsurgery; cranio-facial and cleft palate surgery as well as paediatric plastic surgery.
Dr Robert Gates is a plastic surgeon who graduated from Sydney University in 1985 and completed his surgical residency at Royal North Shore Hospital. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in General Surgery in 1992, and in Plastic Surgery in 1997.His overseas fellowships include Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, UK; Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford, UK; and Lariboisière Hospital, Paris, France.
