Biography
Dr Roderick Chua is an interventional cardiologist with a particular interest in the management of patients with advanced heart failure, coronary angioplasty and stenting, and acute coronary syndromes.
Dr Roderick Chua is a Level A CT coronary angiogram specialist with expertise in exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiograms.Roderick graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery before completing his advanced cardiology training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. He went on to gain experience in the management of end-stage heart failure, transplantation, and patient care post-cardiac transplantation, completing a fellowship at the Heart Lung Transplant Unit at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship at Westmead Hospital.
In 2006, Roderick decided to move to Queensland, working as a consultant cardiologist at a number of hospitals across Brisbane before commencing private practise at Queensland Cardiology.
