Biography
Dr Ryan Bell is a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician with a special interest in neurorehabilitation, amputee rehabilitation, trauma rehabilitation and reconditioning.
Prior to medicine, Dr Bell was a clinical pharmacist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital cardiology unit and heart failure service. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Queensland in 2011. His completed his advanced training in rehabilitation medicine across a number of tertiary teaching hospitals in Brisbane.
Dr Bell commenced as a staff specialist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2018. He is a lecturer at The University of Queensland School of Medicine and an accredited clinical supervisor for the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. As an adjunct research fellow at Griffith University, he is involved in numerous research studies, with a focus on multidisciplinary rehabilitation interventions to support people with acquired brain injury.
