Biography

Dr Sara Sharma is a Consultant Geriatrician with extensive experience in acute stroke care, memory clinics, aged care outreach, and rehabilitation, including amputee services and old-age psychiatry.

Sara completed her medical degree at James Cook University and undertook her physician training in Queensland, where she gained expertise in stroke rehabilitaition, movement disorders, and the physhiatry of older adults.

With a strong passion for aging Dr Sharma focuses on sarcopenia prevention through resistance training and protein fortification. She takes holistic and patient-centred approach to managing dementia, mood disorders, and Parkinson's disease, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care for her patients.
