Biography

Dr Sarah Kamel is a Melbourne-based haematologist who offers the most up-to-date and evidence-based care. She has a compassionate approach with people seeking her expertise for their blood disorders.

Dr Kamel has interests in malignant haematology as well as clotting disorders such as blood clots, bleeding disorders, lymphoma, leukaemia, myeloma anaemia and myelodysplasia.

Sarah graduated from the University of Melbourne and undertook her clinical training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and St Vincent’s Public Hospital, Melbourne.

She is dual trained in haematology with qualifications in both the clinical and laboratory aspects allowing her to integrate laboratory testing into the clinical care she provides to her patients.
