Biography
Dr Siva Navaneethan is an obstetrician and gynaecologist who is dedicated to providing compassionate patient-centred care. He has a clinical interest in urogynaecology, laparoscopic surgery and high-risk obstetrics.
Siva graduated from the University of Jaffna in Sri Lanka with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1992, before going on to complete a post-graduate Master’s in obstetrics and gynaecology.After travelling to the UK to undertake his specialist training in 1998, Siva became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2001. During this period, he also completed a further Diploma of Women’s Health through the Royal College of Physicians Ireland.
Deciding to make Australia his home in 2007, Siva relocated to Griffith where he completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and subsequently established his private practice.
