Biography

Dr Stewart Hunt is a Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist consulting at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside.

He is interested in all areas of malignant and benign haematology but has a particular interest in lymphoma.

Dr Hunt graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from James Cook University. He completed his specialist training rotating through the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital and Pathology Queensland. In 2022 he completed a post-graduate fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr Hunt is actively involved in research, a lecturer at The University of Queensland and provides a collaborative patient centred approach with clear and open communication.
