Biography
Dr Thomas Hardy is a Melbourne-based ophthalmologist with international experience in treating eye disorders. He provides the highest quality care for people in a friendly and efficient manner.
Dr Hardy specialises in treatment of disorders of the eyelids, orbit (eye socket) and lacrimal (tear drainage) system.Tom graduated from University of Melbourne in 1994 and trained at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, before training as an ophthalmologist at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. He then spent 5 years in the UK, undertaking post-graduate fellowship training in eyelid, orbital and lacrimal surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital London. This was followed by appointments at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital as well as hospitals in Cambridge, Salisbury and Southampton.
He has published in peer-recognised scientific journals and has presented at scientific conferences in Australia and internationally.
