Biography

Dr Tishya Indran is a Haematologist with an interest in platelet and thrombotic disorders.

She has just completed a PhD in platelet biogenesis in human health. She completed dual training in clinical and laboratory haematology with the Royal Australian College of Physicians and Royal College of Pathologists, Australasia and has experience in treating benign and malignant haematological disorders.

In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis with her family and swimming.

Dr Indran has special interests in; 
Anaemia from iron deficiency or haemolysis - investigations and infusion of iron
Cytopenia's - neutropenia, thrombocytopenia - administration of IVG
Investigation of elevated ferritin levels
Splenomegaly and lymphadenopathy
Monolocal gammopathy and myeloma
DVT's, PE's and perioperative medicine
