Biography
Dr Victoria Woodcroft-Brown is a specialist in General Medicine. She is an admitting physician at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane and provides an inpatient consultation service at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside.
Dr Woodcroft-Brown graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Distinction from Bond University. She has worked in an array of high acuity, general medical and subspecialty terms in hospitals across Queensland. She completed her Advanced Training in General Medicine at The Princess Alexandra Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane before becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP – General Medicine).
She is skilled in managing patients with undifferentiated or multi-system disease processes and she prides herself on providing high-quality, patient-centred holistic care, with a particular focus on compassion and patient autonomy.
Her particular interests include: acute internal medicine, optimisation of chronic diseases, chronic kidney disease management and heart failure management.
Dr Woodcroft-Brown has a strong passion for registrar training and a solid understanding of education and supervision of trainees within the medical clinical context, having obtained a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Teaching with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne. She is also an associate lecturer with the University of Queensland and continues to have an active role in junior medical doctor and medical student supervision.
