Biography

Dr Wei Lee is a palliative care physician and researcher based in the northern districts of Sydney, passionate about research and the teaching of symptom management in the palliative care setting.

He is the Director of Palliative Care at the Mater Hospital, Sydney and a palliative care specialist at HammondCare North and North Shore Private Hospital. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney and a visiting fellow in Improving Palliative, Aged and Chronic Care through Clinical Research and Translation (IMPACCT), University of Technology Sydney.

Dr Lee completed a doctoral program exploring depression in the end-of-life setting. He currently serves as the deputy chair of the Pain Symptom Node of Cancer Symptom Trials (CST). He is involved in a wide range of palliative and supportive care studies for pain, cognitive and mood disorders, and various symptom issues through Palliative Care Clinical Studies Collaborative (PaCCSC).
