Biography
Dr Matthew Honoré is a Bariatric Metabolic, Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon operating out of St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside.
Dr Honoré completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland, followed by General Surgical training based at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.After qualifying as a surgeon he undertook further advanced fellowship training in Bariatric Metabolic and Upper GI surgery working at the busiest bariatric centres in Queensland and New South Wales.
During this time he had the opportunity to work closely with and learn from internationally recognised leaders in the field.
Dr Honoré enjoys teaching junior doctors and is also a frequent presenter at conferences both nationally and internationally.
