Biography

Mr Chris Lu is a general and laparoscopic surgeon with expertise that encompasses a wide range of conditions such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, gastrostomy, gall bladder, hernia, skin cancers and lesions, hand surgery, anal conditions (haemorrhoids, fissure, fistula), pilonidal sinus, circumcision, vasectomy, and thyroid.

Chris uses the most advanced and minimally-invasive techniques to achieve the best results for his patients. He graduated from the University of Melbourne with first-degree honours in 2000. He completed postgraduate surgical training and research at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Western Hospital and the Austin Hospital. After becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010, Chris pursued further fellowship training in upper gastrointestinal and obesity surgery with the Gastroenterological Society of Australia.
