Biography

Mr David James is a Melbourne-based ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon experienced in ear, nose and throat surgery as well as surgery of the head and neck.

Mr James performs ear, nose and throat surgery specialising in the correction of nose and sinus related issues, particularly nasal obstruction, snoring, mouth breathing, recurrent tonsillitis, glue ear, ear surgery, neck lumps and shape and function of the nose or ear.

David attended the University of Sydney Medical School, followed by general surgical training at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, and ear, nose and throat and head and neck surgical training completed at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

David was involved in research into restoring and protecting hearing function when working with the Bionic Ear Institute and the University of Melbourne, Department of Otolaryngology. He completed a formal training advanced fellowship in rhinology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
