Biography
Mr Dinesh Agarwal is a urologist offering specialised care to people across a range of urological conditions and utilising the newest technological advances.
Dinesh has experience in robot-assisted radical prostatectomy, laparoscopic nephrectomy, GreenLight® laser prostate surgery and urethroplasty.After completing specialist training in India, Dinesh emigrated to Melbourne in 1994. He worked as a urology fellow at Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincent‘s Hospital, and Monash Medical Centre, and, in 1999, became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in urology.
Pursuing his interest in technological advancements in urology, he decided to undertake further training in robot-assisted surgery at the University of California in 2004.
Dinesh has been performing laparoscopic procedures for over 20 years. During this time he’s been involved in developing new laparoscopic surgical techniques and has had his work in this area published in a number of eminent peer-reviewed journals.
