Biography
Mr Jacob Vanyai is a general surgeon with a particular interest in upper gastrointestinal (GI) conditions such as gallbladder, hernia, oesophageal and gastric cancer, gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Mr Vanyai is determined to ensure all his patients receive the best possible care and he uses minimally-invasive surgical techniques and modern enhanced recovery protocols. Jacob trained in general surgery at Monash Health and Alfred Health. He gained additional experience in general surgery at Royal Darwin Hospital and in upper GI surgery at John Hunter Hospital and Western Health.He is accredited to perform diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy.To ensure a safe and effective recovery from surgery, Jacob offers a 24 hour on-call service for all of his patients.
