Mr James Thomas is an orthopaedic surgeon consulting at St Vincent’s private Hospitals. James graduated from the University of Melbourne and went on to specialise in orthopaedic surgery. He completed a Doctorate of Medicine Research fellowship with the Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery at the University of Melbourne. James then moved to Brisbane to undertake a hand fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, followed by invaluable hand surgery training in the UK. To further enhance his expertise in hand surgery, he then undertook a fellowship in hand surgery in the US.
Upon his return to Melbourne, James commenced his private surgery practice with the Victorian Hand Surgery Associates. He also has a keen interest and involvement in medical education programs.
