Biography
Mr Richard Kennedy is a Melbourne-based ENT surgeon who is highly experienced in the field of ear, nose and throat surgery. He has an approachable and caring manner and takes time to answer people’s questions.
Mr Kennedy has been in private practice and conducting ear, nose and throat surgery for over 17 years. He has clinical interests in ear surgery as well as head and neck cancer, skull base and microvascular surgery.Richard graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1992 with a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery. He subsequently went on to do training in otolaryngology in various Victorian hospitals from 1998 to 2002 and graduated as an ENT surgeon.
To further his training and knowledge, he did subspecialty training in the USA from 2002 to 2004. He attended the University of Utah doing a fellowship in otology and neurotology (ear surgery) and the University of California Davis undertaking a fellowship in head and neck cancer, skull base and microvascular surgery. He returned to Australia to start a private practice in 2004.
