Biography

Mr Stephen Tudge is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon who diagnoses and treats people with ear, nose and throat conditions to help them achieve the best possible outcomes.

Mr Tudge has special interest and expertise in head and neck tumours, paediatric ENT surgery and sinusitis.

Stephen graduated from the University of Melbourne and trained as a junior medical doctor at the Alfred and Austin Hospitals. He then undertook 12 months of full-time research into laser treatment of malignant brain tumours at the Melbourne Neurosciences Laboratories, gaining a master of surgery degree. He completed his post graduate training in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery in Victoria at The Royal Children’s, The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear, St Vincent’s and The Alfred Hospitals. He then travelled to London to further his expertise and skills in ENT surgery at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital.

Stephen regularly presents at national and international scientific meetings in ENT head and neck surgery and he is involved in training the next generation of ENT surgeons through his role as supervisor of surgical training in ENT at the Alfred Hospital.
