Biography

David is an experienced palliative medicine physician with expertise in supporting people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

As a clinician and an active researcher, he has a special interest in how to identify and reduce the impacts of chronic breathlessness and of the metabolic changes that lead to weight loss in people with advanced cancer or end-stage organ failure.

He works with a multi-disciplinary team of allied health practitioners, nurses and medical staff to optimise the ability
of people to fulfil key wishes late in life.
