 If you do not accept these Conditions, you must not use this website, and you will not be able to continue in this registration process. Any applications you have made may also be affected.
‘Conditions’ means these St Vincent’s Health Australia Elevate GP Education Platform Terms and Conditions and the St Vincent’s Health Australia Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we manage your information and how you can contact us about any enquiries you have regarding our privacy practices.
‘St Vincent’s Health Australia’, ‘St Vincent’s’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’ are references to St Vincent’s Health Australia Ltd (ABN 75 073 503 536) and, where the context requires, includes any of its related bodies corporate as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) or affiliates (and where relevant ‘affiliate’ includes St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney ABN 99 269 630 262). 

2. Eligibility

This site is intended for use by registered healthcare professionals (GPs, practice staff, and allied health teams). Provided you accept these Conditions, you can register with us at any time if you have a current email address.  By registering, you confirm that you are a medical or allied health professional, or part of a supporting clinical practice team.

3. Registration & Password

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account including your personal information, registration and password. You should not disclose your password to anyone else. You are responsible for all uses of your registration, whether or not authorised by you. You agree to immediately notify St Vincent’s of any unauthorised use of your registration or password.

4. Use of Educational Materials

All materials on this site are designed for educational purposes only and are not a substitute for clinical judgment. Content must not be copied, distributed, or shared outside your practice team without written permission of St Vincent’s.

5. Intellectual Property

All site content (articles, slides, videos, quizzes, and other resources) is owned by St Vincent’s or our licensors. You may use resources for your own learning or within your practice team, but you must not reproduce, modify, or distribute them without permission of St Vincent’s.

6. Professional Responsibility & Disclaimer

The education content provided on the St Vincent’s Elevate GP Education Platform is for professional learning only and should not be relied upon to make decisions about patient care.  The education content on this site does not replace your own clinical judgment. You remain responsible for all clinical decisions and patient care. Always consult professional practice guidelines and standards of care relevant to your profession.

7. Privacy Commitment

St Vincent’s complies with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other Commonwealth and State privacy laws that govern how we handle personal information collected and held about you. 8. Collection of Personal Information 

When you register for St Vincent’s Elevate GP Education Platform, we will collect your name, email address, phone number, CPD number, health practice name and address, and the areas of clinical practice education that interest you. 

9. Use & Disclosure of Personal Information

St Vincent’s will use your personal information to maintain records of modules completed and topics accessed to improve our education programs and understand healthcare professionals’ learning needs. 

Where education is accredited for CPD points, we will mark the module with the RACGP Logo and provide clear guidance on claiming these points. By accepting these Conditions, you acknowledge and agree that:

9.1 St Vincent’s will use your Surname and CPD number to notify the RACGP of your completion of an education module on your behalf, and 

9.2 St Vincent’s is not responsible for the accuracy of the record of your CPD points by the RACGP.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the St Vincent’s Elevate GP Education Platform. You must not share your password, attempt to hack or disrupt services, or post inappropriate or commercial content. St Vincent’s may suspend or terminate your access for any breach of these Conditions. 

11. Payment & Subscription

The educational content on St Vincent’s Elevate GP Education Platform is provided for member use only (under the published Conditions and on the understanding outlined in the Disclaimer) at no cost.

12. Third-Party Links & Resources

The St Vincent’s Elevate GP Education Platform may contain links to third-party sites for further information. Such links are provided for convenience and information purposes and the St Vincent’s Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites. The inclusion of a link to a third-party website does not imply any endorsement by St Vincent’s of the content, products or services offered by that site.

13. Security & Technology

You are responsible for ensuring your devices and browsers are kept up to date. While we take reasonable steps to secure our site, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

14. Termination of Access

We may suspend or cancel your membership if you breach these Conditions or misuse the site.

15. Governing Law

These Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales.

16. Limitation of Liability

While St Vincent’s takes care to provide accurate information, we make no guarantees about completeness or fitness for a specific purpose. We are not liable for any loss or harm resulting from the use of the St Vincent’s Elevate GP Education Platform site or the educational content provided.

17. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless St Vincent’s and its current and former officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, resulting from your breach of these Conditions.

We may update these Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this site and take effect immediately.
