Biography
Dr Andreas Fiene is a thoracic, transplant and sleep physician who is particularly interested in the influence of chronic respiratory conditions on sleep disorders.
Dr Andreas Fiene is a thoracic, transplant and sleep physician who is particularly interested in the influence of chronic respiratory conditions on sleep disorders. He is dedicated to providing high-quality individualised treatments that focus on optimising quality of life for all people suffering from chronic illness.Andreas graduated from the Hanover Medical School in Germany in 1998 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. After completing his junior medical training in the UK, he moved to Australia to carry out his specialist training at the Royal Perth Hospital and became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Physicians in 2008. He subsequently undertook 2 further fellowships in sleep medicine and lung transplantation at the Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane and St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.
Since his return to Brisbane, Andreas has held positions in hospitals across Brisbane and established a successful private practice.
