Biography

Dr Andrew MacMillan is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 30 years’ experience in his field, and is particularly skilled in the diagnosis and management of oral pathology.

Dr Andrew MacMillan is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 30 years’ experience in his field. He has particular expertise in corrective jaw surgery, face and jaw trauma and jaw joint surgery, and is skilled in the diagnosis and management of oral pathology.

Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland, then went on to complete his specialist oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He undertook further specialty training in corrective surgery for people with cleft lip and palate in Hong Kong, before practising in the UK and South Africa.

Andrew is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, was previously the President of the Fauchard Dental Study Club, and also holds a Masters of Dental Science in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the University of Melbourne.
