Biography

Dr Benjamin Forster is a medical oncologist and palliative care physician with interests in breast cancer and supportive care.

Dr Forster is an accredited specialist at The Mater Hospital. He has a strong interest in medical education. He has been an investigator on many clinical trials in breast cancer, and is also involved in clinical research in psycho-oncology and supportive care.

Dr Forster graduated from the University of Tasmania with an MBBS with First Class Honours. He undertook his residency at Royal Hobart Hospital, and then basic physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney.

He is a Fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (FAChPM) after undertaking training in both medical oncology and palliative medicine in Sydney.
