Biography
Dr Jason Papacostas is a member of the St Vincent’s neurosurgery team at Toowoomba.
Jason has subspecialty training in paediatric neurosurgery. He has a keen interest in minimally invasive skull base and epilepsy surgery, and awake cranial neurosurgery.After completing his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Jason undertook his neurosurgery training and subspecialty paediatric neurosurgery training in Australia. Travelling to Canada, he decided to extend his field of knowledge by embarking on fellowships in epilepsy surgery and endoscopic skull base surgery at Foothills Hospital in Calgary.
Since returning to Australia, Jason has started private practice at the Brisbane Clinical Neuroscience Centre and has also joined the St Vincent’s neurosurgery team in Toowoomba. He travels to Toowoomba on a casual basis and offers appointments from Infinity Specialists.
