Biography

Dr John-Paul Killen is a kidney specialist with extensive involvement in dialysis operations. He is focused on improving outcomes for patients with chronic kidney conditions.

Dr John-Paul Killen is a nephrologist with particular interest in hypertension management, perioperative care of patients with kidney disease, vascular access and anaemia management in patients with chronic kidney disease.

Qualifiying from UNSW in 1999, he has been practising in this specialty for over 10 years and has vast experience with dialysis services. John-Paul’s research interests involve treatments aimed at improving cardiovascular outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease and vascular access outcomes for patients on dialysis.

He is very much involved in the lecturing and teaching of medical students through university appointments, and the supervision and training of advanced trainee registrars in renal medicine.
