Biography

Dr Linda Borella is the CEO of Sydney Imaging Specialists.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of New South Wales, Dr Borella completed her specialist radiology training at Royal North Shore and Liverpool Hospitals in Sydney. She then undertook further fellowship training in breast imaging with the NSW Cancer Institute and in paediatric imaging at Westmead Children’s Hospital.

Dr Borella has a particular interest in breast imaging and oversees the breast imaging in the department. She is actively involved in diagnostic and interventional breast MRI services and implemented at the practice Sydney’s first Abbreviated Breast MRI screening service.

Dr Borella holds an accredited VMO position with BreastScreen NSW and also has an interest in general ultrasound, neuroradiology, body oncology and head and neck imaging. She is actively involved in teaching and research and is an Honorary Scientist at the Garvan Institute and Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and Adjunct at the University of Notre Dame.
