Biography
Dr Nicole Yap is a general, breast and endocrine surgeon consulting at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, East Melbourne and Fitzroy campuses. She has extensive international training and will take the time to explain her recommended course of action to produce the best possible outcomes.
Dr Yap is the director of Breast Institute Australia. Her interests include breast cancer and reconstruction, thyroid diseases, varicose vein sclerotherapy, melanoma and skin cancers.Nicole completed her fellowship in general surgery following four years’ training in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. Her breast cancer surgery techniques were enhanced at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan and at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. She has also received additional training in France under world-renowned surgeons to advance her skills and expertise.
