Biography

Dr Noel Saines is a neurologist who has been a visiting consultant for over 30 years.

Dr Saines is experienced in the range of general neurological conditions he has  particular interest in neurophysiology (nerve conduction studies, EMG and EEG) and is available for medicolegal assessment.

Noel graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Melbourne in 1973. He went on to complete his specialist training in neurology, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1979. He was an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Neurological Institute of Columbia University in New York from 1982 to 1983 before returning to Australia.

Throughout the years, Noel has held a number of positions as consultant neurologist in Brisbane hospitals and has taken an active role in training medical students and junior doctors in varying capacities.
