Biography

Dr Sarah Scott is a nephrologist with clinical interests in chronic and immune-mediated kidney diseases, dialysis and kidney transplantation, cardio-renal medicine, and acute kidney injury.

Dr Scott is committed to providing multidisciplinary patient-focused treatment solutions, collaborating with her patients, their families and other health care professionals to individualise care and meet each person’s needs.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland, Sarah completed her specialist nephrology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s, Princess Alexandra and Greenslopes Private Hospitals. For research into tuberous sclerosis during her time as an advanced trainee, Sarah was awarded the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology’s Shawn Summers Prize in 2014. Outside of her clinical practice, Sarah has published extensively and is actively involved in training junior doctors.
