Mr Matthew Free is an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon with international sub-specialty training in knee surgery. He treats the full spectrum of knee conditions in patients of all ages, from sports-related injuries to degenerative conditions.

He has undertaken advanced fellowship training in knee surgery at leading centres worldwide. His expertise include ACL reconstruction, complex ligament surgery, partial and total knee replacement, and knee joint preservation procedures including cartilage repair, realignment osteotomy, and meniscus repair. By combining advanced techniques with evidence-based care, he helps patients restore movement, performance, and quality of life – whether returning to sport or managing arthritis and knee pain.
