Biography

Dr Richard Baker is the Deputy Director and a Consultant Psychiatrist for USpace - the young adult mental health service at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Sydney.

Across his roles, he provides psychiatric care for children, adolescents, young adults and their families, and has experience managing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, eating disorders, addiction, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders.

Dr Baker undertook his specialist training at St Vincent's Hospital, The Prince of Wales Hospital, The Black Dog Institute and Sydney Children's Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and has completed subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry through the RANZCP and the NSW Institute of Psychiatry. He holds a conjoint position with the School of Psychiatry at the University of New South Wales where he’s involved in both teaching and research and is a Staff Specialist for Justice Health.

Dr Baker has admitting rights to the USpace Young Adult Mental Health Service, across both outpatient and inpatient services.
