Biography

Prof Adam Guastella is a clinical psychologist with extensive clinical and research experience. He is dedicated to supporting children and families, drawing on partnerships between researchers, other clinicians and additional mental health services to provide the best available assessments and treatments.

An avid researcher, Prof Guastella is passionate about developing more effective clinical treatments for a range of mental health conditions that are based on neuroscience advances. He holds an appointment as Professor at the University of Sydney and is involved with numerous treatment trials targeting a wide variety of mental health concerns using neuroscience interventions, including autism, schizophrenia, substance misuse and anti-social personality disorder.

Prof Guastella maintains a position at USpace - the young adult mental health service at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Sydney.
