Biography

Dr Rakusin is a consultant psychiatrist with a subspecialty interest in Youth Mental Health and Psychotherapy.

Dr Dori Rakusin is a Consultant Psychiatrist at USpace - the young adult mental health unit at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Sydney. Dr Rakusin treats those aged 15-30 years, with a clinical focus on personality disorders, psychotic disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, adult-ADHD and youth mental health. She has a particular interest in dynamic psychotherapy.

Dr Rakusin completed her medical degree at The University of New South Wales and undertook her specialist training at Prince of Wales Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and a member of the college’s Faculty of Youth Mental Health. Dr Rakusin also holds a Staff Specialist psychiatrist position for NSW Health, and outside of clinical practice she runs reflective therapy groups for medical students and supervises psychiatry trainees.

Dr Rakusin has admitting rights to the USpace Young Adult Mental Health Service for both outpatient and inpatient services.
