Biography

Dr Richard Baker is a consultant psychiatrist at our USpace Clinic. He provides psychiatric care for children, adolescents, young adults and their families, and has experience managing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, eating disorders, addiction, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders.

Richard undertook his specialist training at St Vincent's Hospital, The Prince of Wales Hospital, The Black Dog Institute and Sydney Children's Hospital. He’s a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and has completed subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry through the RANZCP and the NSW Institute of Psychiatry.

Richard holds a conjoint position with the School of Psychiatry at the University of New South Wales where he’s involved in both teaching and research.

Richard’s a staff specialist for Justice Health and also has admitting rights to the USpace Young Adult Mental Health Service where he is a Visiting Medical Officer.
