Biography

Dr Simon Quinn is a vascular and endovascular surgeon with an interest in aneurysms, carotid artery disease, claudication, lower limb arterial disease, and diabetic foot.

A Brisbane native, Simon graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with honours, before completing his specialist vascular surgical training in Queensland and Victoria. He then undertook subspecialty training in the use of advanced endovascular techniques in the management of aortic aneurysm at St Vincent’s and Epsworth Hospitals in Melbourne.

Pursuing his continued interest in emerging endovascular procedures, Simon then travelled to Europe to gain experience in the vascular surgical units at the Groningen University Medical Centre and London’s St Mary’s Hospital.

Simon consults at hospitals across Brisbane and is actively involved in educating medical students as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.

Better and fairer care. Always.

In a rapidly transforming world, St Vincent's has created a refreshed vision and strategy to help shape Australia's health and aged care future.
