Biography

Dr Jarrad Stevens is a Melbourne-based orthopaedic surgeon specialising in conditions affecting bone and joints, trauma, hip and knee joint replacement and soft tissue knee conditions. He can offer advice and discuss management for any lower limb conditions and trauma.

Dr Stevens graduated Medical School from the University of Adelaide in 2006 before completing the Victorian orthopaedic training program in 2016, and commencing a consultant position at Frankston Hospital.

In 2017, he completed his first fellowship in complex and revision hip and knee surgery at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Scotland. During this time he gained experience in robot-assisted joint replacements and was awarded a post-graduate diploma in computer-assisted orthopaedic surgery.

In 2018 he completed his advanced trauma surgery fellowship at Southmead Major Trauma Centre, Bristol. Jarrad then completed a further fellowship at the prestigious Avon Orthopaedic Centre, where he specialised in soft tissue knee surgery, patellofemoral joint stabilisation procedures and sports injuries.

During his time in the UK, Jarrad was awarded his Master of Surgery title from the University of Edinburgh and was presented the Sir Harold Stiles Medal for his research into revision knee replacements.
